Ingredients

Soothing Tea

  • 1½ cups hot water (not boiling)
  • 2 tablespoons Go Honey pure honey
  • ½ teaspoon Go Honey bee propolis powder
  • Juice of ½ lemon
  • ½ inch fresh ginger, sliced or grated
  • 1 cinnamon stick (optional)

Instructions

1

Heat the Water

Bring water to a boil, then let it cool for 2-3 minutes. Using water that's hot but not boiling (around 160-180°F) helps preserve the beneficial properties of honey and propolis.

2

Steep the Ginger

Add the fresh ginger slices and cinnamon stick (if using) to your mug. Pour the hot water over them and let steep for 3-5 minutes.

3

Add Honey and Propolis

Remove the ginger and cinnamon. Add the honey and bee propolis powder, stirring until completely dissolved.

4

Add Lemon

Squeeze in the fresh lemon juice and stir. The vitamin C from the lemon adds extra immune support.

5

Sip and Soothe

Drink while warm for maximum soothing benefits. The combination of honey, propolis, and ginger coats and calms an irritated throat.

Pro Tip: For extra soothing power, add a chamomile tea bag to steep along with the ginger. Drink this tea 2-3 times daily when you feel a cold coming on. The antibacterial properties of propolis combined with honey make this a powerful natural remedy.
