Honey Glazed Salmon
This honey glazed salmon comes together in just 20 minutes. The sweet and savory glaze caramelizes beautifully, making every bite irresistible.
Ingredients
Salmon
- 4 salmon fillets (6 oz each)
- Salt and black pepper to taste
- 1 tablespoon olive oil
Honey Garlic Glaze
- ¼ cup Go Honey pure honey
- 3 tablespoons low-sodium soy sauce
- 2 tablespoons butter
- 4 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 tablespoon fresh lemon juice
- ¼ teaspoon red pepper flakes (optional)
For Serving
- Lemon wedges
- Fresh parsley, chopped
- Sesame seeds (optional)
Instructions
Prep the Salmon
Pat the salmon fillets dry with paper towels. Season both sides generously with salt and pepper. Let sit at room temperature for 10 minutes.
Make the Glaze
In a small bowl, whisk together the honey, soy sauce, lemon juice, and red pepper flakes. Set aside.
Sear the Salmon
Heat olive oil and butter in a large oven-safe skillet over medium-high heat. Once the butter is melted and foamy, add the salmon fillets skin-side up. Cook for 3 minutes without moving until a golden crust forms.
Add Garlic and Glaze
Flip the salmon. Add the minced garlic to the pan and cook for 30 seconds until fragrant. Pour the honey glaze over the salmon fillets.
Finish Cooking
Continue cooking for 4-5 minutes, spooning the glaze over the salmon occasionally, until the fish is cooked through and flakes easily with a fork. The glaze should be thick and sticky.
Serve
Transfer to plates, spoon extra glaze from the pan over the top. Garnish with fresh parsley, sesame seeds, and lemon wedges.
