Royal Jelly Overnight Oats
Creamy make-ahead oats whipped with royal jelly and raw honey, topped with fresh berries. Nothing gets heated, so the royal jelly stays completely raw.
Ingredients
Oat Base
- 1 cup old-fashioned rolled oats
- 1 cup milk of choice (oat, almond, or whole)
- ½ cup plain Greek yogurt
- 1 tablespoon chia seeds
- Pinch of sea salt
From the Hive
- 1 teaspoon Go Honey royal jelly
- 2 tablespoons Go Honey pure honey
To Finish
- Fresh raspberries and blueberries
- Extra drizzle of honey
Instructions
Whisk the Wet Ingredients
In a medium bowl, whisk together the milk, Greek yogurt, and honey until smooth. Working with cold ingredients from the start is what makes this recipe so friendly to royal jelly—nothing ever gets heated.
Fold in the Royal Jelly
Add the royal jelly and whisk until it's fully blended into the milk mixture. Take an extra few seconds here—royal jelly is thick and creamy, and you want it evenly distributed rather than sitting in one pocket.
Stir in Oats and Chia
Add the rolled oats, chia seeds, and a pinch of sea salt. Stir until every oat is coated. The salt is small but it sharpens the honey and rounds out the tang of the royal jelly.
Divide and Chill
Spoon into two jars or containers, seal, and refrigerate overnight—or at least 6 hours. The oats soften and the chia thickens everything into a creamy, spoonable texture.
Top and Serve
In the morning, give each jar a stir, then pile on the berries and finish with a drizzle of honey. Eat cold, straight from the jar.
